Visit Expectations

At your initial visit, Dr. Stanciu will:

  1. Perform an evaluation of your medical history
  2. Discuss your symptoms
  3. Create a personalized bone health plan designed to evaluate your risk for osteoporotic fractures or other metabolic bone disorders
  4. Determine appropriate laboratory tests and radiology evaluations

At your report of findings visit, Dr. Stanciu will:

  1. Review the diagnostic studies
  2. Discuss your recommended treatment plan

Dr. Stanciu does not require a referral but will collaborate with your other medical providers as your condition dictates. It is recommended that patients maintain a primary care provider for overall medical care.

Prescriptions and Pharmacies

We will keep your preferred pharmacy information on file, but we are generally not able to accommodate requests for multiple pharmacies. If your care requires the prescription of chronic controlled substances (determined at Dr. Stanciu’s discretion), you will need to sign a separate agreement.

It is patient’s responsibility to keep our office updated with the correct local or mail order pharmacy information

Insurance Billing

This practice does not participate in any public or private third-party payor programs or health insurance benefit plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. However, if you have commercial or private insurance, please provide us with your current insurance information and we will provide you with documentation so you can submit it for reimbursement.
